Abstract

The purpose of the present Act is to ensure that every fisher is entitled to belong to a certified fisheries association and to participate in their lawful activities. A fisheries association that wishes to be certified must apply to the Minister in compliance with the prescribed rules. A fund is established to be known as the Certified Fisheries Organizations Support Fund. The Act consists of 8 articles.
