Abstract

These Regulations, consisting of 20 articles, are promulgated pursuant to Paragraph 6 of Article 8 of the Act Governing Food Safety and Sanitation (the “Act”). The Regulations, provides for the conditions, requirements, procedures and approaches for the certification of sanitation and safety control of food businesses and commission and management of the certification procedures. The qualifications and requirements, to be satisfied by the appointed bodies and the staff thereof, are stipulated.
