Abstract

These Regulations provide rules relative to supply of water for irrigation by the Central Water Authority and use of such water and related matters. Any person wishing to obtain water for irrigation purposes shall make an application in the form set out in the First Schedule (a lessee shall make an application jointly with the owner of the land). The Authority shall construct, maintain and operate the required channels and pipe-lines from the Authority's reservoir to the delivery point and the applicant shall be responsible for the construction of channels or pipelines from the delivery point.
