Abstract

These Standards, consisting of 10 Articles, are developed for the purpose of ensuring the authenticity, legality and scientificity of advertisements on veterinary drugs. The publishing of advertisements on veterinary drugs shall comply with the Advertising Law of the People's Republic of China and the relevant provisions of the state on the administration of veterinary drugs, and follow the procedures set up by the provisions of the Measures for the Examination and Approval of Veterinary Drugs. The scopes of use of veterinary drugs in advertising shall not exceed those provided for in the national veterinary drug standards. The approval number of a veterinary drug advertisement shall be included in the advertising content and released at the same time. Veterinary drug advertising in violation of these standards, may not be designed, produced by advertising operators and published by the advertisement publisher.
