Abstract

This Act aims at preventing the straying of cattle on public land or private grounds other than those of the owner of the cattle. Any person who is the owner or who is in charge of any cattle shall cause or permit any such cattle to stray or trespass on any public highway or on any land the property of any other person shall be guilty of an offence, and shall on conviction be liable to a fine or imprisonment.
