Abstract

These Rules, made under section 9 of the Cattle Traders Act, provide for the licensing of (international) trade in cattle. An application for the issue or renewal of a cattle trader’s licence shall be made in Form I in the Schedule to these Rules to the veterinary officer in the area in which the applicant intends to carry on business as a cattle trader. The Rules also concern fees for (export) licences, renewal of licence and endorsement of licence for additional areas by the veterinary officer.
