Abstract

The present Regulations enact the Natural Products Act. The Regulations lay down provisions relating to cattle producers. For the purpose of the present Regulations “Agency" means the Canadian Beef Cattle Research, Market Development and Promotion Agency, established under the Farm Products Agencies Act (Canada). In particular, section 3 establishes that only a person who holds a valid certificate of registration issued by the Commodity Board is permitted to act as a producer or purchaser. The text – consisting of 10 sections – deals with the following aspects: certificate of registration, annual reporting, levy amount, and work of Commodity Board.
