This Ordinance enters into force on such date and in such areas as the may, by notification in the Official Gazette, direct.
Abstract

This Ordinance provides for the accidental or intentional trespassing of cattle in the streets or in cultivated land where damage could be done to crops or any other product found there. In the case of an absent keeper or owner, any Police Officer may take charge of the straying cattle. Whereas a keeper or owner was negligent or conniving in letting the cattle go straying around, the said keeper or owner shall be fined up to two hundred taka.
