Abstract

This Act regulates the control of cattle pests and is divided up into 7 sections as follows: Part 1 Interpretation; Part 2 Treatment Program; Part 3 Administration; Part 5 Cattle Owners; Part 6 Director and Part 7 Finances. A livestock health services board, established under the Livestock Health Services Act; may formulate a treatment program and budget, (to be payable by cattle owners) for its area. The powers of these boards are outlined in the Act along with the duties of the cattle owners.
