These Regulations come into force on 25 December 2000.
Abstract

These Regulations implement in Wales the provisions of Council Regulation (EC) No. 1760/2000 in relation to older cattle. They require cattle born before 1 July 1996 which are not already registered with the National Assembly for Wales on a voluntary basis to be registered before 29 January 2001 (reg. 5).
