These Regulations come into force on 4 June 1999.
Abstract

These Regulations amend the principal Regulations of 1998 so as to provide that the competent authority for the purposes of Article 7.3 of the Council Regulation (supply of information concerning cattle) and the authority referred to in Article 7.4 of the Council Regulation (keeping a register of cattle) is the local authority or other authority specified for England, Scotland and Wales separately is the local authority.
