Abstract This Act describes the policy of government for providing monetary assistance to the hardest hit segments of the country's small farmers in the form of giving of cash to farmers further to declining palay prices and the crippling effects of the Covid 19 pandemic. The Act gives authorisation to the Department of Agriculture to use monies from annual tariff revenues for cash assistance to farmers. The Act further provides for the source of fund.
