Abstract

A piece of basic legislation regulating the handling of and bringing into circulation genetically modified organisms, and the use of genetic analysis and genetic therapy for human beings. The aim of this Act is to protect human beings and the environment from harmful effects of genetically manipulated organisms in order to grant a high degree of safety.
