Abstract

An Act to approve and implement the Treaty establishing the Caribbean Food Corporation of 18th August, 1976 and the Agreement establishing the Caribbean Food Corporation to which Saint Vincent is a member. The Caribbean Food Corporation shall in the territory of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines be deemed to be a judicial person and may, subject to such restrictions and conditions as may be imposed, exercise its rights in accordance with article 3 of the Agreement. The Corporation shall have as its objectives the production, processing, packing, storage, transportation, distribution and marketing of food. Other provisions of this Act deal with priviliges and immunities of the Corporation and implementation of amendments to the Agreement. (9 sections completed by a Schedule)
