The present Ordinance enters into force on 1 January 1996.
Abstract

The present Ordinance lays down provisions relating to meat hygiene. Article 2 deals with concession procedures for slaughtering houses. The Veterinary Office issues the authorization for such places and organizes the examination of animals and the sampling of meat. The text consists of 19 articles divided into 6 Parts as follows: Sphere of application (I); Slaughtering houses (II): Animals for slaughter (III): Vocational training (IV): Final provisions (V).
