The present Ordinance enters into force on 1 January 1997.
Abstract

The present Ordinance implements the Cantonal Forest Law of 28 April 1996. Article 3 establishes that the tasks of the cantonal forest offices shall be, inter alia, the issue and survey of provisions concerning forests, in particular the implementation of forestry plans, the observance of conditions for felling wood and other regulations by local authorities and the monitoring of forestry projects. The text consists of 51articles divided into 6 Parts as follows: General provisions (I); Protection of forests against interventions (II); Protection against natural disasters (III); Conservation measures and use of forests (IV); Promotion measures (V).
