Abstract The present Ordinance implements the Cantonal Forest Law of 28 April 1996. Article 3 establishes that the tasks of the cantonal forest offices shall be, inter alia, the issue and survey of provisions concerning forests, in particular the implementation of forestry plans, the observance of conditions for felling wood and other regulations by local authorities and the monitoring of forestry projects.
