Abstract

The present Regulations enforce the Canadian Wheat Board Act (R.S.C. 1985, c. C-24). The Regulations define at the outset certain terms therein employed, such as “applicant”, “assignable acres”, “dealer”, “feed grain”, “licensed grain dealer”, “miscellaneous crops”, etc. The text – consisting of 15 sections – deals, inter alia, with the following aspects: interpretation; permit books; barley producer’s certificates; transfer of producer’s certificates; licences, North American Free Trade Agreement, designated products, payment of sum certain, designation of selected and accepted barley. One Schedule is enclosed.
