Abstract

The purpose of the present Act is to remove the restrictions on the marketing of wheat and barley grown in Western Canada, establish a voluntary interim Canadian Wheat Board (CWB), and provide for the privatization of the Canadian Wheat Board within five years of the present Act. The text consists of 48 sections divided into 3 Parts as follows: The Canadian Wheat Board (1); Interprovincial and export marketing of grain by the Corporation (2); General (3).
