Abstract

The present Act lays down provisions relating to the functions and duties of the Canadian Wheat Board. The Board shall market in an orderly manner, in interprovincial and export trade, grain grown in Canada. Section 5 lists the powers of the Boards, such as, for example, to buy, take delivery of, store, transfer, sell, ship or otherwise dispose of grain; to enter into contracts or agreements for the purchase, sale, handling, storage, transportation. The text consists of 77 sections divided into 7 Parts.
