Abstract

The present regulations provide for the enforcement of the Canada Grain Act. The regulations contain at the outset a definition clause relating to various terms therein employed, such as, «hazardous substances”, “net weight”, “regional inspector”. The text consists of 87 sections divided into 7 Parts as follows: Canadian Grain Commission (1); Grain grades, grading and inspection (2); Licences and licensees (3); Tariffs (4); Elevators, grain dealers and grain handling (5); Carriage of grain (6); End-use certificates (7). Seven Schedules are enclosed.
