The Institute has as main task maintaining and keeping up-to-date the public registers about goods that require registration (rights on immovable property, ships and airplanes). There shall be an official GLIS Land Surveyor, the duties of which are defined by this Act. This public officer shall carry out control of activities of sworn land surveyors.
