Abstract This Resolution consisting of 12 articles aims at developing agriculture and industry of palms and olives, and their products, by establishing the Agency for the Development and Improvement of Date Palms and Olive Trees, under the responsibility of the Ministry of Agriculture and Animal and Marine Wealth. Main tasks off the Agency are: promoting and developing cultivation of palm and olive trees using modern tools; establishing farm nurseries of palm and olive and conserving those already existing; introducing modern technologies for pest control and methods of pollination; establishing manufacturing industries of palm, and its derivatives, and olive and production of residue feed; and issuing certificates and licenses. Shall manage the Agency a Board of Directors, whose main responsibilities are: implementation of public programs and plans; proposal for the financial, administrative and technical regulations; valuation for the establishment of branches and offices as needed; and supervision and controlling activity.
