Abstract

This Regulation determines the amount of state aid, the awarding criteria and the procedure for awarding: (a) support for recording farm animals in the pedigree book and pedigree register, as well as determining their genetic quality, evaluating productivity data and evaluating them by progeny; and (b) support for the conservation of local endangered breeds of farm animals. The total amount of support in 2023 is 22,000,000 euros, of which to cover the administrative costs related to the creation and maintenance of the pedigree book and pedigree register, as well as to determine the genetic quality of farm animals, to evaluate productivity data and to evaluate them by progeny: (a) for breeding sows – 8,228,405 euros; (b) for dairy cows of milk breeds, including colostrums, – 8,823,279 euros; (c) for suckling cows and heifers of meat breeds, older than 12 months, – 3,474,484 euros; (d) for dairy goats of dairy breeds, including colostrums, – 85,558 euros; (e) for breeding sheep mothers – 776,057 euros; (e) breeding red deer and fallow deer - 200,000 euros; (f) for purebred breeding mares – 189,737 euros; and (g) for the preservation of local endangered breeds of farm animals – 222,480 euros.
