Abstract

This Regulation prescribes the procedures for the monitoring and exchange of information regarding such infectious diseases to which both animals and humans are susceptible, regarding agents causing such diseases, as well as the antimicrobial resistance of agents. The Food and Veterinary Service performs epizootologic monitoring in the field laid down in the Veterinary Medicine Law. The Service in collaboration with the Centre for Disease Prevention and Control must ensure the introduction and implementation of the requirements laid down in this Regulation, as well as exchange of information.
