Abstract

These Regulations prescribe the labor protection requirements for work with asbestos in order to protect the safety and health of workers against the risks arising or likely to arise from exposure to asbestos or dust containing asbestos at the workplace. Dealing with asbestos means the dismantling of asbestos-containing materials (removal of asbestos-containing parts from a building, installation or equipment and removal), transportation, storage, disposal of asbestos-containing materials and handling of asbestos-containing materials where these are marked by chemical legislation labeling in accordance with the prescribed procedure.
