According to the Regulation, the following is prohibited in the Republic of Latvia: (1) preventive vaccination of animals and use of hyperimmune serums against brucellosis; (2) therapeutic treatment of brucellosis for animals; and (3) importation of such animals which have been vaccinated against brucellosis.
