Abstract

The Regulation prescribes the procedures for the reception of ship-generated waste and polluted waters and procedures for the development of a ship-generated waste handling plan. It applies to all ships (including fishing vessels and recreational craft, irrespective of their flag) calling at, or operating within, a port, with the exception of any warships, naval auxiliary or other ship owned or operated by a State and used, for the time being, only on government non-commercial service.
