Abstract

These Regulations prescribe the procedures by which officials with special service ranks of the State Border Guard, State Police and State Fire-fighting and Rescue Service shall be seconded for participation in international missions and operations, and the procedures for financing the participation. Officials shall participate in international missions and operations according to the resolutions, recommendations or requests of the international organisations, associations or Union with which the Republic of Latvia has entered into international agreements. Officials shall participate in international missions and operations voluntarily.
