The Regulation applies to persons carrying out activities with asbestos (fibrous hydro-silicate material in pure form) or material containing asbestos fibres - crocidolite (blue asbestos), actinolite, anthophyillite, chrysotile (white asbestos), amosite (brown asbestos), tremolite, and also raw asbestos (a product resulting from the primary crushing of asbestos ore). Finally, the Regulation adopts as its annex methods of sampling and analysis of asbestos emission into water and methods of sampling and analysis of emission into the air.
