Abstract

This Regulation determines the procedure for obtaining and collecting information on carbon monitoring in agricultural land. The State Plant Protection Service obtains and collects information by implementing the following carbon monitoring: (a) network monitoring - for determining carbon accumulation and forecasting and inventorying greenhouse gas emission changes in each cycle of the common agricultural policy planning period; and (b) group monitoring - for the assessment of the carbon accumulation created by the organic and integrated farming system and its changes in a representative sample of farms in a five-year cycle, monitoring is carried out in one fifth of the group's monitoring points every year. In order to obtain information, the Service shall agree with the land owner or legal possessor of land on the conditions for obtaining information and monitoring point related to rural history.
