It lays down rules for measures to be performed if there are suspicions regarding infection with rabies; measures to be performed if there are suspicions regarding illness with rabies; measures during the observation of an animal and following the end of observation; and measures to be performed if the diagnosis of an animal ill with rabies is confirmed. The implementation of this Regulation is monitored and controlled by the Food and Veterinary Service.
