Abstract

The Regulation prescribes the procedures for the classification and marking of packaging. It notes that the packaging materials must be classified in accordance with Annex 1 to this Regulation. The packer must indicate the following information in the packaging or packaging material marking located on the packaging or its label: type of packaging material (it must be indicated by a code number or mark in conformity with Annex 2 to this Regulation); and possible type of processing of the packaging material (in conformity with Annex 3 to this Regulation).
