Abstract

These Bye-laws are made under subsection (4) of section 9 of the Land Surveyors Act which provides that the Bahamas Association of Land Surveyors, established under the Act, shall have power to make rules or Bye-laws not inconsistent with the provisions of the Act for the regulation of its affairs and the conduct of its business. The rules concern, among other things, membership, measures against members who act against Bye-laws, constitution, functions and activities of the Council of the Association and committees, functions and powers of officers of the Association and advertisement and other activities of members.
