Abstract

These Regulations, made by the Minister section 23 of the Business Licences Act 2002, implements provisions of the Act with respect to, among other things: application for business licence; business activities covered by a licence; issue or refusal of business licence; the Business Licence Register; cancellation of business licence; appeal to Minister against a decision made under these Regulations; amendment of Register and licence. Business activities to be licensed include: manufacturing/processing, agriculture, fisheries and recycling services. Applicants for a licence for the fish & marine product-related businesses shall submit a fishing licence from Fisheries and those applying for a licence in the food sector a health certificate.
