Abstract

The objectives of the present Act are, inter alia, to make available to the people of Burgenland high quality electricity at a reasonable price; to continue to increase the big part of renewable energy in the production of energy; to take into consideration the safety of the production, the guarantee of supply, and above all the environmental compatibility. The text consists of 82 articles divided into 9 Parts as follows: General provisions (I); Establishment and organization of electricity plants (II); Transmission system operators (III); Funds (IV); Preparation of balance sheet (V); Conditions for the work of transmission system operators (VII); Measures to safeguard supply (VIII); Electricity Commission (IX); Transitional provisions, final provisions (X); One Annex is enclosed.
