Abstract

The Regulations provide rules for the construction of storages for (dangerous) petroleum, for the packing and storage of petroleum, the conveying of petroleum and the prevention of oil pollution. "Dangerous petroleum" is petroleum that is easily inflammable. Limits are placed on the amount of dangerous petroleum that may be stored at one place. The Regulations provide for a system of permits and licenses for the storage and transport of petroleum. They prescribe requirements for the construction of storage tanks.
