Abstract

The present Scheme enacts sections 5, 11 and 22 of the Natural Products Marketing (BC) Act. The purpose and intent of this Scheme is to provide for the effective promotion, control and regulation, in any and all respects and to the extent of the authority of the Province, of the production, transportation, processing, packing, storage and marketing of the regulated product within the Province, including the prohibition of such production. Part 1 of the Scheme consists of 6 Divisions as follows: Title (1); Quota system (2); Licences (3); Levies (4); Sales verification (5); General (6). Part 2 consists of 4 Divisions as follows: Interpretation (1); Purpose and application (2); Name and constitution of the Board (3); Egg Industry Advisory Board (3.1); Authority of the Board (4)
