Abstract

The present Regulation enacts Sections 4 and 10 of the Farming and Fishing Industries Development Act. In particular, the Regulation lays down provisions relating to the payment of levies on behalf of producers to appointed first receivers which have to remit the levy to the Council within 15 day of the end of the month in which the levy is collected. Section 4 establishes that the first receiver must retain all records respecting the collection of the levy for 2 years from the date of the collection. The text consists of 4 sections as follows: Interpretation (1); Application of this Regulation (1.1.); Levy (2); Payment of the levy (3); Records (4).
