Abstract

The present Regulation enacts sections 2(2), 11 and 22 of the Natural Products Marketing (BC) Act. Section 3 establishes that the Scheme authorized, established and given effect to by this Regulation shall be known as the British Columbia Broiler Hatching Egg Scheme. Furthermore, a Commission, named the British Columbia Broiler Hatching Egg Commission, is established and shall administer this Scheme under the supervision of the British Columbia Farm Industry Review Board. The text consists of 9 sections as follows: Interpretation (1); Scheme (2); Commission (3); Rules for election of commission members (4); General meeting (5); Extraordinary meetings (6); Minutes (7); Powers and duties of the Commission (8); Pricing and Production Advisory Committee (9).
