The present Law enters into force on 10 February 2010.
Abstract

The purpose of the present Act is - in accordance with the Federal Waste Avoidance, Recovery and Disposal Act – to promote recycling and environmentally sound waste management. The text consists of 22 articles divided into 5 Parts as follows: Introductory provisions (1); Public waste disposal (2); Waste management planning (3); Waste disposal facilities (3); Waste monitoring (4); Competences, penalties, entry into force (5).
