It shall be applicable to the whole national territory. The scope of the program is to create conditions for the integrated development of commodity aquaculture (commodity fishfarming). It shall be applicable both to aquaculture and to mariculture. The objective of the program is to increase the output of aquaculture products. Program arrangements include: (a) subsidies for breeding pedigree fishfarming species; (b) performance of veterinary, sanitary and medical preventive arrangements in aquaculture (fishfarming); (c) investments in modernization and construction of new aquaculture facilities; (d) applied research related to aquaculture (fishfarming); (e) fishery amelioration in ponds, which are out of use for technical reasons, and putting into operation thereof.
