Abstract

These Regulations amend the Bovines and Bovine Products (Trade) Regulations 1999 insofar as they apply to Wales. The Principal Regulations give effect to Commission Decisions 98/692/EC and 98/564/EC which amended Council Decision 98/256/EC.The effect of the amendments is to permit the despatch of bone-in beef from premises approved under the Date Based Export Scheme ("DBES") to the domestic market.
