A Border Management Agency is established under section 3. The Agency shall be a body corporate to be managed by a Board of Directors. Its principal functions shall be:(a) to administer, control and manage prescribed border points and any other property vested in it under this Act; (b) to provide and maintain such services and facilities as are in its opinion necessary or desirable for the efficient operation of prescribed border points or as the Minister may require; (c) to provide, or to coordinate the provision of emergency services, including rescue and fire fighting services, at prescribed border points.
