Abstract This Order approves the Technical Regulation on Additives and their Maximum Limits for Food Category 6: Cereal Products. The Regulation lays down a list of authorized additives for being used in all cereal products (extruded, expanded, inflated, kneaded, rolled or other) ready for consumption, instant food and those normally used for breakfast, snacks, or other, cold or hot. Examples of these products are granola cereals, muesli, instant oatmeal, corn flakes, wheat or puffed rice, mixed cereals (eg. rice, wheat and corn), cereals made from soy or bran, processed extruded cereal products with flour or ground cereal grains and cereal bars, etc. Full text Portuguese Website portal.anvisa.gov.br
