This Resolution enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Resolution, consisting of 10 articles and one Annex, provides for food additives and technology adjuvants in formulas for infants, toddlers and similar foodstuff specially formulated for infants and young children marketed in the country. The purpose of this Regulation is to establish food additives and technology adjuvants, with their respective functions and limits, permitted for formulas for infants and similar foodstuff. This Regulation applies to formulas for infants, follow-up on formulas for infants, formulas for infants for specific dietary needs and follow-up formulas for infants intended for specific dietary needs and for similar foodstuff specially formulated for infants marketed in the country.
