Abstract

This National Sanitary Surveillance Board Resolution, consisting of 2 articles and one Table, whereas the establishment of maximum limits for additives in glucose syrup should be limited to ready-to-eat products since the quantity of the additive in the raw material for industrial use will be determined by the amount of syrup which added to the product, and the maximum permitted limit of sulphur dioxide and sulphites in food products, specifies the extension of use of the Additives Sulphur Dioxide and its Salts of Calcium, Sodium and Potassium, as a preservative for Glucose Syrup.
