This Resolution enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Resolution approves the Technical Regulation that authorizes the use of sweetening additives in food, with their respective maximum limits. It provides for those sweetening additives authorized for being used in foodstuff. Their maximum limits and conditions of use are listed in the Annex corresponding to the values to be observed in the ready-to-use products according to the manufacturer's preparation instructions. Non compliance with this Resolution constitutes a sanitary infraction subjecting the offenders to the penalties of Law No. 6.437 of 20 August 1977.
