It continues to implement Council Directive 2000/75/EC laying down specific provisions for the control and eradication of bluetongue. The Order provides, among other things, for the declaration of zones, the licensing of movement of animals, semen, ovum or embryo, notification of known or suspected bluetongue, establishment of zones, vaccination and enforcement.
