Abstract

For subsection 174(1) of the Act, this instrument provides that specified classes of goods must not be brought or imported into Norfolk Island unless specified conditions are complied with. This instrument applies in relation to goods that are, or are intended to be, brought or imported into Norfolk Island, whether or not the goods are, or are intended to be, brought or imported from outside Australian territory or from another part of Australian territory. A number of expressions used in this instrument are defined in the Act, including the following: animal; goods; plant.
