The Regulations establish the National Biosafety Regulatory Committee. The Committe shall, among other things: (a) evaluate all applications concerning or related to genetically modified organisms and products thereof and make recommendations to the Minister in that regard; (b) advise, on request or of its own accord, the Minister on matters concerning genetic modification of organisms as specified in these Regulations.
